All Day Within A Sunday

Images: Invited German friends round for a late French breakfast, gave myself a manicure after friends left, went out for a long, sílent walk in the woods late afternoon, a spot of shopping after woods walk, purchased this pretty skirt, back at the house, cooked supper - Caribbean style cod fish with olives, tomatoes and garlic served with sweet potatoes and peppers, met girlfriend after supper for drinks and gallery opening. Don't you just love her Blue heels?;-)

De l'Histoire à fleur de peau

Image: Victorian diamond brooch. This exquisite piece of jewellery belongs to my sister. I borrowed it to wear to a charity ball in Paris last week. It looked quite striking against the lime green of the silk dress I wore. I so adore antique jewellery, the history, the individuality, the romance, the intricate craftsmanship and elegance.
