U svom garderoberu čuvam poseban odeljak za komade koji pored svoje materijalne, imaju i onu drugu, emotivnu vrednost. Uspomene sa putovanja, pokloni dragih ljudi, komadi koji sećaju na neke lepe trenutke... Ili, u ovom slučaju, komad koji nastane za manje od 24 sata po genijalnoj zamisli i pod talentovanim prstima, koga drugog do, moje mame. Kako su dizajn i realizacija istog u potpunosti njena zasluga, meni je jedino preostalo da svaku ispletenu petlju ponosno prošetam. Treba li napominjati da sam to uradila sa uživanjem.
Dok sam tokom subotnjeg popodneva krala po koji zrak žilavog februarskog sunca, podsetila sam se one velike istine da je ''moda'' daleko više od listanja magazina, skrolovanja modnih portala, posećivanja revija i svega propratnog. Nekad je ona samo delić čarolije tokom kojeg se klupče vune pretvara u nešto lepo, unikatno i emotivno vredno.
Ostatak čarolije spada pod kategoriju talenat. Ali to je, barem u ovom slučaju, već mamin fah ;)

In my closet I keep a separate section for pieces that besides their material, have also the emotional value. Memories from trips, gifts from dear people, pieces that recall some memorable moments... Or in this case, a piece that was made in less than 24 hours by talented fingers of my mom. As the design and realisation were her ''fault'', I had just one duty: to wear proudly each knitted loop. Should I mention that I did it with more than a pleasure.
While I was stealing some February sun, during this Saturday afternoon, I remembered the main truth about '' fashion'': it is far more than reading fashion magazines, scrolling fashion portals, attending fashion shows. Sometimes it is just a piece of magic during which the clew of wool is turned into something beautiful, unique and emotionally valuable. The rest falls under the category of talent.
